Location great.Nicely decorated and quite comfortable.Lovely and warm.
A few cobwebs around, but admittedly I’m super attuned to seeking them out!🤭
Would have appreciated a curtain on the front door.
Also to have printed manuals on the oven and microwave.

The property is self catered, there were two tea bags, some sugar and milk sachets provided on arrival with two dishwasher tablets. This was good, the location was great and the facilities were all well documented in the arrival pack.
A few more sugar packets and tea bags might have been helpful to prevent buying a bag of sugar and tea bags whilst on situ that ends up making the trip cross country home! Some of the carpets were stained and the kitchen floor vinyl rippled and sticky, the dishwasher door was catching and the outdoor garden was quite overgrown which meant accessing the outdoor washing machine was tricky.

Excellent location
Bathroom downstairs. Very steep stairs with no upstairs loo. Difficult descent in the middle of the night to use the loo. Sofas rather squidgy.

The location is wonderful - good dog walks - lovely village - excellent bakery - good choice of pubs should you want them
Castle/church all easily accessible
It was disappointing that no basics - such as milk - were left in order to have a drink on arrival
Some of the notes in the information were somewhat draconian - particularly being told you would be charged for not recycling any glass - having to strip the beds and place the towels in the bath - there isn’t one - particularly when you have been charged a very high cleaning fee
The bath towels could be bigger and as the heating was out of synch it was not always easy to dry them
The bar of soap was minimal and perhaps it would be better to promote local products
No oven gloves and no baking trays in the oven
The heating was not working properly and on the last morning there was no hot water
