Good size room and decent location
Room hadn't been cleaned when we arrived.

The location was perfect, 5 minute walk into town, having parking makes a massive difference, lovely large room, peaceful, easy check-in and out, stunning features, would book again in a heart beat if I go to whitby again. Shocked nothing was mentioned these a fridge in the room also, bonus,
Hairdryer needs updating, not powerful enough..and froze out milk, no biggie..on wrong temperature..

The proximity to Whitby, the location was lovely too.

Just terrestrial TV. Set up for smart TV bit could not connect

Elford House provided us with a good room and location although the hill climb was a challenge for two pensioners..facilities such as bathroom was also good but an electric shower is generally not a power shower.
Our stay at Elford House was ruined by the lack of heating in the room, we spent as little time as possible in the hotel due to the room temperature and as the hotel did not have a permanent manager I could talk to...I had to put my coat over my duvet when I went to bed..If your answer to this point is you should have telephoned ? My answer is I should not have to ask this question as it should be checked by management as normal maintenance.
