Iris Garden Cottage

-The owner Indrani and her husband gave me a very warm welcome. Indrani was extremely kind and helpful with any questions or requests I had. - My apartment was exactly as shown in the photos, which is not always the case on booking! It was beautifully furnished, very clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen that I could use to prepare my own meals. The bed was large and comfortable, and having a washing machine was very convenient. -The furniture and interior design are lovely, with everything thoughtfully chosen. Overall, the apartment really makes you feel at home. - I also felt very safe staying here. If you arrive by car, you can park it securely within the enclosed property, behind a locked gate. - Saint-Germain-en-Laye itself is close enough to Paris to make visiting the city very easy by public transport. There is also a wonderful local market three times a week. -The town has plenty to offer, including a beautiful château and magnificent park. Anyone who enjoys walking or going for a run will feel right at home here. Saint-Germain-en-Laye has excellent local amenities and a lovely selection of shops. It is a wonderful destination in its own right, and you could easily spend several days exploring the town and its surroundings. If you're into art, I recommend the museum Maurice Denis 2 min from the apartement. And the Sennelier shop in Paris, a must go 🖌️. - There is a bus stop near the apartment with connections to the town centre. Better and if you enjoy walking, you reach the centre on foot in about 15 minutes. Just be aware that the walk towards the town centre, train station and château is uphill. - I also had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast with Indrani in her home whenever I wished. The breakfasts were always delicious, and the conversations were just as enjoyable! - And last but not least, there is Chester, the family's wonderful, incredibly friendly brown Labrador 🤎. - I would love to come back again :-).

Reflecting upon my recent travels, I must sincerely say that I encountered an exceptional property that truly exceeded all my initial expectations, paired gracefully with a very kind lady who served as a most gracious and welcoming host throughout the duration of my journey. From the very moment of my arrival, I knew I was in for a truly wonderful stay, as the entire atmosphere of the place exuded warmth, comfort, and meticulous attention to detail. Every single amenity provided was thoroughly well equipped, ensuring that I lacked for absolutely nothing during my time there, whether I was resting after a long day of exploring or preparing for the adventures yet to come. In particular, I especially liked how the room heating worked reliably every single day and night, casting a cozy and comforting warmth across the space that made it absolute perfection to return to whenever the weather outside turned chilly. The seamless functionality of the climate control added an extra layer of reassurance to my daily routine, allowing me to sleep deeply and peacefully in an environment that felt entirely like a home away from home.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Iris Garden Cottage! Wir haben als Paar im Iris Garden Cottage gewohnt und uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage und ist nicht weit von der Metro entfernt, sodass wir ganz bequem nach Paris fahren konnten. Besonders toll war, dass wir unser Auto im Innenhof der Gastgeberin parken durften und die Stadt anschließend ganz entspannt mit der Metro erkunden konnten. Die Hausherrin ist ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Jeden Morgen durften wir bei ihr im Wohnzimmer frühstücken. Die Gespräche am Frühstückstisch waren immer sehr nett und interessant. Sie ist eine sehr kluge, belesene Dame, die uns viele wertvolle Tipps und Informationen zu Sehenswürdigkeiten in Paris und der Umgebung geben konnte. Dieser persönliche Austausch hat unseren Aufenthalt ganz besonders bereichert und richtig Spaß gemacht. Die Unterkunft selbst war tipptopp sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Die Küche ist wunderbar und bietet alles, was man braucht. Auch das Badezimmer und die übrige Ausstattung sind sehr neu und gepflegt. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Sauberkeit und Wohlbefinden gelegt wird. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen. Das Iris Garden Cottage ist eine Unterkunft, die wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und freuen uns, dass wir diese schöne Unterkunft und ihre herzliche Gastgeberin kennenlernen durften. Vielen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit!
