Tiny apartment, poor layout, terrible AC, unhelpful and rude host. Do not recommend.

Location is good. Accessing the property was not difficult, as long as you have good wifi or cellular reception. If you don't it will be hard.

First the little things, check the specs for how big the apartment is, it is very small for a family. The bathroom has the shower between the sink and toilet, making it awkward and wet. There is nowhere to hang a towel, which is annoying. The kitchen was ok, but we were unable to cook, as we didn't want to add anymore heat to the tiny apartment. The wifi logs on, but barely works, we were unable to load any websites and had to use our cellular data. Most importantly, the air conditioning did not cool the apartment at all. The temp inside did not get below 27C with the AC running for 12 hours straight, my family and I were miserable. We asked for fans but the host didn't respond. We had to get a new hotel for the second night, and the host, Mattia, was terrible to work with. He lied about the AC, he said we had it set wrong (we did not, I even had the manual for reference). He told me I had it set to "sun" rather than "snowflake," which is completely false, I have attached a pic of the remote and a pic from the manual to show the snowflake vs sun. He made excuses about not being able to go below a certain temp setting in Milan by law, and told us we had shut it off. He was condescending and rude, and did not offer any money back. He argued everything irrationally saying the wifi works (thanks, but it doesn't), the AC blows out cold air (it does, but does not have the power to cool the apartment). I have been using booking.com for years and have never had an issue like this with a host. Booking.com was also no help, they let the host control everything. All in all a terrible experience with the host, the apartment, and Booking.com.

We had a lovely stay overall. The location was absolutely perfect, and everything else was great as well. The only downs

A lovely apartment difficult for me to get into.

Well designed and executed apartment with a lift in a convenient area.

I found getting in difficult. The instructions were detailed and on-line, in Italian. This should be okay but required good on-line connection for translation to get the keys. As I don’t speak Italian and my wifi wasn’t behaving, this became a nightmare.

Great location with some excellent local food options and proactive hosts

The apartment was quiet and has a cool Milan designer vibe. It was convenient to many different areas including the train to the airport from Garibaldi Station. Loved some of the local eateries nearby, right on the edge of historic Milan, modern Milan and Chinatown. Good receptive hosts.
