We stayed at the house for two nights. The house is pleasant and clean, with two separate bedrooms. The beds are comfortable, there is enough kitchenware, and the house is warm. These are the main advantages.
However, there are also some disadvantages. The description of the house does not mention that there is no staircase to the second floor, where the bedrooms are located. The only way to get there is by using a lift. The toilet is on the ground floor, which means that at night you have to take the lift to get to the bathroom. This is very inconvenient. I believe that the lift should be clearly mentioned in the description, and guests should also be informed about it in a message when making a booking.
In addition, when someone was on the second floor, we could not always call the lift from the ground floor. I don’t know what the reason was. The people upstairs had to come down to the ground floor themselves in order to bring the lift back.
The photos show a children’s playground outside the window, but unfortunately guests are not allowed to use it.
Bed linen and towels also turned out to be available for an additional charge. This is not mentioned in the house description either. The owner informed us about the additional charge for bed linen later by message, while we only found out about the towels after arriving at the house. It is a minor issue, but still unpleasant.
Upon arrival, we were also told that we had to remove the bed linen ourselves when leaving. When we checked out, we loaded the dishwasher and turned it on. However, the hosts also expected us to put all the clean dishes back in their places and clean the floor thoroughly. These requirements were not mentioned in the house rules or in the description, so having to do additional cleaning came as a surprise to us.
There is also a large dog freely walking around the property. The dog is friendly, but if someone is afraid of dogs, this is something they should be aware of. That said, the owner is willing to keep the dog inside the house if it causes any inconvenience.
