La cabana è immersa nella giungla in un paesino piccolissimo raggiungibile con strada sterrata vicino al Parque Nacional Vulcan Tenorio. E' bellissima, grande e confortevole con cucina e tavolo all'aperto, letti comodissimi e bagno grande.
La caban non è in un lodge ma solitaria nella giungla. Purtroppo le zanzare ci hanno divorato e utilizzare il portico fuori non è stato così piacevole anche se purtroppo è l'unico posto dove mangiare o fare colazione

The home is beautiful and private and located in a very small community. Wonderful outdoor kitchen, and strong overhead deck fan to keep cool in the heat/humidity. THe outdoor space is totally private with great views of trees/birds. Host was helpful and kind when we texted. We loved hanging out on deck watching the birds and enjoying a few slow paced days. Wonderful stay.
We came from the south (I think) and the road was ROUGH. Much better to come from the other direction (where the Papaya house is the first on the right rather than the last on the left). That road is totally fine and lands in a small town with a great cafe and store. Fan inside didn't go on high, so it was very very stuffy and the stove had just one working burner. But really, those are not dislikes -just something that wasn't ideal. Overall, it was a great stay!

The location is phenomenal if you’re interested in nature. The lodge is very well equipped, comfortable and clean. We saw two species of toucans, three species of tanagers and two species of hummingbirds in the garden amongst a host of other birds. The frog calls at night were just incredible! My partner wears ear plugs, but I loved laying there listening to all the nocturnal nature.
Like others, I would definitely recommend a 4x4 and access via the north route. We first arrived via the southern route in the dark, which was an adventure to say the least, but fun all the same and no harm done. WiFi would be useful to save relying on phone data. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the evenings, but we were prepared with spray and the net over the bed was very welcome.

Nos ha encantado la cabaña, muy bonita y con todo lo necesario. Está rodeada de naturaleza y se ven muchas aves. Lo hemos disfrutado mucho.
