Getting access to the apartment was very smooth and well coordinated. The location is really perfect - quiet street but located super centrally right in Colmar's old town. The apartment mostly had all that is needed and was clean.
The apartment was generally ok, but there were a couple of things that rather dampened our stay... There was quite a bad smell when we entered the apartment, even some faint cigarette smell that was rather unpleasant. As you probably already know, the window in the kitchen is completely off its hinges and cannot be closed properly - thus, to prevent someone from just climbing through the window (since the flat is ground floor), one has to keep the external blinds shut. Also, the lamp on the left side of the bed doesn't work, nor was I able to charge my phone in the power strip on that side. On the right side of the bed, power was working but it looked quite messy with the air conditioner (?) just leaning next to the bed against the wall... What we also felt was strange was that the toilet brush was left in the toilet when we first entered the bathroom. Finally, there were dark strains on the pillowcase of the bed. I'll share some pictures for documentation in a second. Again, it was okay for the night and one of these things would not have bothered us much, but all of them put together makes me feel like the price for the apartment was too high for what you get.
