We stayed in this apartment for just under a month. Susan (an owner) speaks english very well and solve any occured probelms immidiately. We checked in early in the morning — the host arranged a transfer and early check-in. On site, Susan showed us good grocery stores nearby, the market, delicious cafes, and also helped us arrange a trip to tourist attractions.
The apartment is convenient, cozy, and has everything needed for living. We could cook at home, do laundry, and spend leisure time without any problems.
There are cafes and shops on the street itself. The metro (Lines 10 and 7) is about a 15-minute walk away. Near the building there are also several simple sports grounds and a beautiful park along the canal. Across the canal is a business center where you can find many interesting places, including an IMAX cinema and fairs. The school of today's art is on the same street where you may meet nice people and interesting expositions of art.
I highly recommend this place as a stay for both long and short terms.
There were no particular complaints. Perhaps the burnt-out light bulbs should be replaced, since it was a bit dark in the room in the evening.
Also, it's worth keeping in mind that this is just one room that can easily accommodate 4–5 people.

The apartment: clean and spacious with all necessary endowment, large living to stay together
The surroundings: the apartment is in a cozy neighborhood, quiet and peaceful, with all necessary at short distance - stores (including 24/7), restaurants (to eat or cater), cafes, museum
The host: very hospitable, she gave us tips on several malls and supermarkets in the area and arranged for us activities at good prices (The Great Wall trip, The Forbidden City guided tour, tickets at Chinese opera)
Beijing is a huge city and, despite the metro, distances are long and we spent a lot going to and back from attractions, which is different from Europe, where you have almost everything in a place. But this helped us burn the calories put on with the excellent Chinese food that is everywhere, to sit and eat or take "da bao" (packed to be eaten in).

It was nice apartment but the outside aisle needs to be cleaned. The bed needs better and softer mattress. Otherwise things were nice generally. Overall great and the host was helpful and friendly.
