Mission Bell Motel

Great stay

Super cute bungalow style motel with covered parking right outside your door. We arrived late after a long day and the young man in the office provided kind and helpful service. Our room was one of their largest, a double bed suite with a kitchenette, and the kitchenette has a brand new GE full size stove/oven combo with an over the range microwave. No janky little low powered microwave sitting on top of a mini fridge here... the fridge is also brand new and apartment size. The bathroom was small but nice, the shower head is a removable hand held type with the convenience of a magnetic attachment - no fumbling to hook it back on the fixture. Water pressure is ok and water gets nice and hot. Beds were comfy, sheets were clean and soft. The floor is tile, it was nice and clean. The AC unit runs cold. The bedroom has a ceiling fan, and the usual motel room ironing board is in the bedroom closet. Other cool things about this motel include the pretty and quaint landscaping, with beautiful bright orange cannas in many spots. Location is also great, Trader Joe's and Target and an entire mall are a 5 minute drive away - or a quick walk if you prefer. Last but not least there is an awesome little ice cream shop literally right in front of the office unit. Staying at the Mission Bell Motel was a positive experience and I definitely would like to return for another stay in the future.
