This gorgeous Roman palazzo was absolutely amazing to stay in during our 4 day trip to Rome. Monica was such a delight to work with, always very responsive with any questions we had leading up to our trip, and she arranged for transportation from and to the airport for us. The villa itself is like experiencing a part of history - literally. The ceilings and frescoes are stunning. It was well appointed, and the air conditioning and various fans were a lifesaver to recover in during the heatwave after adventuring about in the morning. The surrounding neighborhood has everything you would want within a 5 minute (often less) walk, including 2 gelaterias, a bakery, a grocery, and several fantastic restaurants. It’s well situated to explore almost all of the main Roman tourist sites on foot. It did not have an onsite washer and dryer as mentioned, but I believe Monica can make arrangements to have it sent out (we didn’t use that option). It was a very comfortable fit for our family of 5 adults. Everyone found the beds comfortable. She was able to provide an extension cord to accommodate my CPAP. Showers/tubs are a small step up if that is a concern for you, and apartment is located up one flight of stairs, but we found all of this very manageable. If you envision staying in a quiet Roman neighborhood, popping around the corner in the morning for your espresso and pastry, grabbing some midday snacks from the market, exploring Rome on foot during the day, meandering down the street f

Monica was so gracious and welcoming. She arranged our airport pickup and drop offs, helped us find laundry services, recommended good gluten-free restaurants, and was available to assist with any other questions we had. The apartment was lovely- it felt like we were staying in a historic Italian space!

This is an amazing place, in a perfect location to visit central Rome on foot. All the main sights are within easy walking distance, and the palace itself has Roman antiquities to view as you walk up the stairs.Monica could not have been more welcoming, or helpful, and the apartment is beautiful, spacious, and historic. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
