L’appartement est très agréable. Le petit jardin adorable. Les équipements sont parfaits.

Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Innenstadt mit den berühmten Colleges erreicht man gut zu Fuß in 1,8 km. Es fahrt aber auch ein Bus um die Ecke ab. Diverse leckere Restaurants oder Pubs befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Lage ist ruhig in einer Seitenstraße, Parkplatz unmittelbar vor dem Haus. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr zuvorkommend. Über uns wohnte eine Familie. Das Haus ist hellhörig. Letztlich waren wir aber selbst lange in der Stadt unterwegs, so dass uns das nicht gestört hat. Nachts war es sehr ruhig.
Unser Hund war willkommen, alles prima.

Spacious. Cool on hot day. Nicely decorated. Great appliances including coffee machine. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Good sized outdoor space.
Confusing information about parking. Add says no parking but first come first serve space available. We purchased parking unnecessarily. No sound insulation. We woke up ridiculously early with people walking around the flat upstairs. Maintenance of outdoor space poor (dirty bench and chair, broken paving and overgrowth). We wanted to use it but didn't have the time to clean it. Bedlinen for sofabed not provided and bed made with a thick duvet in the middle of a hot summer which meant having to re-make bed. Instructions for using the coffee machine would have been useful.

La posizione.
Ragnatele fuori su tutte le finestre e all’accesso all’appartamento e al giardino (non abbiamo capito se si potesse entrare da una porticina esterna direttamente sul giardino, ma era inutile perché tante ragnatele ne impedivano l’avvicinamento). Giardino inutilizzabile per incuria (erbacce, anche sulle scale, sedie sporche). Accesso all’ingresso principale molto scomodo e sporco. Abbiamo chiesto le lenzuola per il divano, come cortesemente offerto dallo staff, ma non le abbiamo trovate. Ci sono state consegnate il giorno successivo al nostro arrivo, in un plico di plastica depositato per terra davanti all’ingresso. Nella camera da letto non si aprivano le finestre. Lo staff ci ha aiutato, le finestre le abbiamo potute aprire solo l’ultima notte, per 48 ore non abbiamo potuto cambiare l’aria. Il vetro sulla vasca da bagno aveva la guarnizione di silicone mezza di fuori, per cui usciva l’acqua se non si faceva molta attenzione nel fare la doccia. La doccia nella vasca non è adatta a persone alte. Ci è stato fornito un elenco lungo di regole da rispettare, e che abbiamo rispettato. Fra queste la pulizia finale…! E di non recare disturbo a un bambino piccolo abitante in un appartamento vicino. Naturalmente siamo stati silenziosissimi, peccato che sopra le nostre teste, in camera da letto, camminassero persone come fossero elefanti la mattina presto e la sera tardi. Ci e stata richiesta una assicurazione aggiuntiva prima del soggiorno che abbiamo pagato, ma che consideriamo un sovrapprezzo ingiustificato e che in nessun altro alloggio né in Scozia né nel Regno Unito ci è stato richiesto. Siamo stati quasi sempre fuori, ma anche perché non stavamo volentieri in questo appartamento. In conclusione il rapporto qualità -prezzo è pessimo.
