Everything. Absolutely everything!
Staying at Jung's House was like stepping into another era, into a beautiful traditional Korean village that seems untouched by time.
The house itself is breathtaking, full of rustic charm, authenticity, and timeless beauty. We stayed in two rooms, including the spacious family accommodation upstairs, with its absolutely gorgeous terrace. Waking up in such a place felt like living inside a Korean movie. It was simply magical.
The location couldn't be better. Right in the heart of the historic village, surrounded by traditional streets, shops, restaurants, and historical attractions. Everything is within walking distance, yet the atmosphere feels wonderfully peaceful.
The accommodation was perfectly spacious and comfortable. Even the smaller room was surprisingly roomy, easily offering enough sleeping space for four people, although it is officially intended for two.
And the traditional Korean floor heating! Sleeping on a futon on a beautifully heated floor was such a wonderful experience. We absolutely loved it!
The kindness and warmth of our host made our stay even more special. Such genuine hospitality is something we will always remember.
I cannot recommend Jung's House highly enough. It was more than accommodation; it was an unforgettable experience, a beautiful memory of Korea that we will treasure forever.

Honestly, almost nothing!
The only small inconvenience was that there was no electric kettle in the larger upstairs accommodation. However, our smaller room had one, so we simply borrowed it from there.
We also found it a little surprising that there wasn't a single drinking glass in either room. Although complimentary bottles of water were thoughtfully provided in the fridge, having a few glasses available would have been appreciated.
The other thing we were a little less enthusiastic about was the shower setup, which was quite different from what we are used to in Europe. But perhaps this is simply a matter of cultural differences and personal habits. As Western travellers, we are not necessarily accustomed to this type of bathroom arrangement, but discovering and embracing different ways of life is part of the experience!
Interestingly, while we absolutely loved the Korean-style toilets, we were a little less convinced by the shower arrangement!
These were all very minor details compared to the extraordinary beauty of the house, its authentic atmosphere, and the exceptional kindness of our host.
We absolutely loved our stay, and none of these little inconveniences would ever stop us from coming back. We would return without a second's hesitation! ❤️

Amazing stay in a traditional guesthouse! They were so accommodating when we couldn’t make our booked date due to illness. They moved our booking to a week later with no issues.

We had a beautiful large room in a fantastic neighbourhood, close to all sites of interest and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful and offered to store our luggage both before check-in and after our check-out. We loved the traditional breakfast. The location was very quiet.

The location was fantastic, a short walk away from the historic sites and restaurants, and the room was very comfortable.
We wished that it wasn't a wet shower and that there would be a shower cubicle, but other than that, no complaints. The room was lovely.
