Great location; disappointing quality of accommodation.
Pros: comfortable beds, clean sheets, good towels, clean overall, plenty of hot water as long as you don’t have the shower and the bath running at the same time, heating, great location, bath, decent dishwasher so all the basics for a good ski trip, plus some very nice wooden furniture and lovely view of Mont Blanc
Woefully ill equipped kitchen, bathrooms so narrow that you had to side step through them, no handrail up the stairs I would not come here with young children or older people, very narrow and inadequately sized area for boots and ski kit, no instructions on how anything worked so although we could see that the oven functioned as a microwave we could not work out to do it, no system for recycling, no waste paper bins upstairs at all, incredibly uncomfortable chairs in the kitchen, only one quite uncomfortable sofa and two tiny uncomfortable chairs in seating area so that only one person can be comfortable in the living room, inadequate provision of basic things like soap, salt, loo paper etc.
The property generally in a state of poor repair - cracked tiles in the bathroom, the hob was badly cracked. dents in the walls and dirty wall in living room, chipped paint, loose floor boards, cheap fittings. The whole place felt like it was in need of refurbishment.
The house itself is generally of poor construction with very poor soundproofing both internally and externally so that you can hear music and conversation next door and even with doors closed you can hear person in other bedroom.
I know you get what you pay for, but I was paying quite a lot for this and for the quality of the accommodation, I was over paying.
