Aloha! If you're looking for an authentic Hawaiian experience, stunning beaches, local eateries, and a peaceful atmosphere far from the Waikiki hustle and bustle, you've found it!
This one-bedroom, one-bath condo at Hawaiian Princess in Makaha, on Oahu’s beautiful Leeward Coast, offers breathtaking views of the beach, ocean, and sunsets right from your lanai.
The condo includes free parking, free Wi-Fi, and access to the building’s amenities, including a pool, hot tub, tennis, pickleball, BBQ, and ping pong table. Inside, you'll find a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, air fryer, Instant Pot, blender, and more. We also provide linens, beach towels, chairs, mats, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, a beach umbrella, a cooler, and even binoculars for whale watching in season. The condo also has two TVs, ceiling fans, stand fans, and a washer/dryer for your convenience.
The building has a roof-mounted, water-cooled central Air Conditioning system. Please note, however, that it does not function like mainland AC systems and will not make the condo super cold. Most guests find the condo very comfortable with open windows, natural cross-ventilation, trade winds, ceiling fans, and stand fans, which keep the space fresh with tropical breezes. If you prefer super cool indoor temperatures, this may not be the condo for you.
The Princess Building is a smoke-free, pet-free property, and we have an on-duty security guard 24/7 for peace of mind.
Note that Waikiki and Honolulu are about an hour’s drive away and you may see homeless camps along the route. However, the Hawaiian Princess is a secure, gated building, and we encourage you to read reviews from others to make your own decision about staying on this side of the island.
For local dining, be sure to try Beachhouse 604, a guest favorite with oceanfront seating, and Spicy House in Maili, known for its excellent Thai food. Fine dining is just a short drive away in Ko'Olina and at Disney’s Aulani Resort. You’ll also find shopping and a water park in nearby Kapolei. Surf enthusiasts will love Makaha Surfing Beach, home to international competitions, just down the coast.

This place was awesome, and the view was incredible. My family of three stayed here for 5 days and loved every minute. Very comfortable, had every thing needed to make food and relax. There was shampoo, conditioner and even three types of sunblock in case we forgot. The bbq's out side and the ping pong tables made it even more fun. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location. Its on the west side of the island and it isn't as loud or as crowded as Honolulu. Its 11 miles from Disney which was super fun and there are several lagoons in the area so if you have small kids its a great place to swim. We stayed 6 nights and every thing worked and looked good. 10/10 would recommend. There is so really good poke and hawaiian bbq restaurants near by as well as 7/11's and quick food like Pizza hut and McDonald's. It had security and was gated which made it feel extra safe. The security guards were friendly and helpful when we had questions. Absolutely worth every penny. I dont say that often because I tend to feel like Im being over charged because things are not really what was listed. This place though was amazing. We got to see so many sea turtles from the balcony and the sunsets were really stunning.

The property was clean and well kept. Beach views were amazing. Had all of the amenities that we need to enjoy our stay.(beach chairs, beach blanket, umbrella, boogie boards, and towels, snorkel equipment) felt safe on the property with a 24 hour security. I read earlier reviews about the homeless camp being close and inconvenient to the property, but they were at least 2-3 miles away and never interfered with our stay. The owner was very easy to communicate with and reached out as soon as we contacted him.

The property was nice enough. The beach was the best part. But the neighborhood wasHorrible. Homeless camps everywhere and homeless people roaming around. It was dirty and uncomfortable. The condoWas on a high floor so the AC was constantly running but it never cooled down even with fans going 24/7. Kind of felt scammed
