Disaster

Nice at first sight- turned into a terrible experience very quickly

: I booked via the app and payed in advance. When we got to the property, there were no towels and no sheets. The owner would not reply to any of my calls and I was forced to request a French person to assist me. They said it was not included although there was no indication of this anywhere on the app. It said nothing about cleaning either ( I searched thoroughly). Seeing the owner was unsavoury we were very concerned with doing at least at possible. We just had a shower( which did not work properly )and slept on plain mattresses. We bought food and did not touch the kitchen. Now the owner is threatening me with charging 150 eu. We are horrified, there was no information about cleaning either on the app reservation page. At the maximum there could have been a few crumbs on the floor so this is outrageous. In addition to this- there was no barbecue, no hairdryer and no kettle, which were listed in the details, also, the shower did not work and the tv did not work either. I would not have said anything about this but I strongly feel this owner is trying to make money unwarranted out of this. I can assure you that the attitude from the beginning left me so distressed that we hardly touched the place. Nothing about cleaning or lack of towels or sheets visible on the app. On top of all this now I have been threatened with extra charge, unbelievable.
