Great beach house, but terrible communications with the property management.
The house was really nice and provided a great place for a family vacation. It was well-equipped and had fantastic living areas. Among those:
- Outdoor deck was great complete with a bbq (didn't work very well), outdoor TV and enough seating
- Incredible views of the ocean
- A dining table that was big enough for the whole family (wasn't easy to find this in my search)
- Plenty of bathrooms
- Comfortable beds
- Lovely decor
We were and remain REALLY DISAPPOINTED by the Property Management.
Unfortunately, the hot tub/pool heating system was not working, which I informed the Property Group the first morning we were there. They promised to fix it either that day or the next and I never heard back from them. After calling and messaging several times, they promised they would come again and did not.
They 3 days later, but by that time, they said that the hot tub heating was broken (this should have been checked before we came!!!) and that it was unlikely they would fix it in time. The hot tub was one of the reasons why I chose this location and to not be able to use it during our trip was a real shame.
The Property Group said that they would reimburse us for the inconvenience, BUT THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO MY 5 EMAILS AND MESSAGES after we checked out.
Furthermore, we were unlucky because we needed to use the heat (unseasonably cold), but we were not able to change the thermostat upstairs. I had to call the Property Group SEVERAL times to try to get them to fix it. It was very cold!!!!
While the house was really nice, I experienced quite a lot of stress with the property management promising and never delivering. It was very unprofessional and I remain disappointed with their inability to communicate.
I would be happy to amend my review if they respond to my messages.
