This place might be acceptable for a couple with low expectations, but we would not recommend it for families with child

The villa management was polite and caring. They checked in daily and asked if we needed cleaning, which we appreciated.

We chose this villa based on the beautiful photos on Booking. It looked cozy, charming, and like a nice place to spend a week. Unfortunately, the reality did not fully match the presentation. First of all, the access to the villa is quite difficult. Taxis and bikes often struggle to reach it, and if you are traveling with large luggage, walking through narrow alleys with suitcases becomes a real inconvenience. Another disappointment was the actual size of the villa, rooms, and pool. In the photos, everything appears much more spacious. Although the listing mentions three bedrooms, the villa and especially the pool feel significantly smaller in real life. The pool is very small (approximately 2 m x 1.8 m), quite slippery inside, and relatively deep, which is important to keep in mind. Visually, the villa was prepared nicely for our arrival and looked clean. However, there were serious issues with humidity and smell. Two of the side bedrooms had a strong damp smell, and the air conditioners there were very noisy. Because of this, we had to avoid those rooms and only use the middle bedroom (the one with the canopy), which was the most comfortable — no smell and a decent mattress. The bed linen was clean but had visible stains that did not come out. The bathrobe also had makeup stains, which suggests that housekeeping could be more attentive. The dishes displayed on the table (as shown in the photos) were covered in dust and had to be fully washed — it would be better if they were stored in cabinets instead. Another important point: despite the description mentioning a quiet area, this is not accurate. We were regularly woken up by construction noise nearby, loud music from neighbors, and sounds from a nearby hotel. During thunderstorms, the wooden windows shook heavily due to strong wind, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. However, due to the overall discomfort, we decided not to stay for the full reservation and left after three days.

Relaxing, calm and beautiful pocket of Canggu

Beautiful villa tucked away but still central enough, overlooking a rice field, the rooms provided privacy and every room has its own bathroom, plenty towels and cleaning service everyday, the shared pool area felt cute and intimate and shielded away from outside, felt like a secret hidden sanctuary:)

Some construction around but it didn’t bother us at all
