Hampton Inn By Hilton St Louis Airport

Cleanliness and closeness to airport We also had a GREAT receptionist who definitely went the extra mile for us when we arrived late. Her name is Taylor, she found us a room that they were sold out of and even had a bags taken to our room. She then found us in the restaurant to give us our keys. She was wonderful!

Nothing

The hotel staff were professional and courteous, breakfast great and plentiful. My granddaughter loved the view of the planes arriving and departing. I also enjoyed the fact that we couldn't hear them.

The parking for this weekend was absolutely horrible. The hotel has 2 sides, parking in the front and rear. The rear parking seems like miles from the entrances which were few for such a large hotel and we had to park up front behind the fire lane sign due to no space in the front or rear. Also the linen/towels were so dingy that they appeared dirty or gray even when I requested clean towels. There was a stain on the top linen of my sons bed that appeared dirty but had been washed. This linen should have been discarded if the stain could not be removed. Not cleaned and added back to a bed for other guests. Im sure the housekeeper saw it as my husband who is not so attentive to detail immediately saw the stain.

Close to airport. Easy to take shuttle. Staff was very courteous and helpful

There was a large group staying that was very noisy. I told the front desk about the noise around 10pm. At 3am I woke up to 15-20 teenagers running around the hallway. I went out and told them to go to bed and I was calling security. It seems like if someone was watching the security cameras, it would be very clear that there was a huge group of teens in the hallway in the middle of the night.

Location. Buffet was good.

Our room had a bad smell and something on the wall that looked like blood. A homeless man came in and asked them where the bathroom was, then he went and got food off the buffet. Don't mind him eating but he was dirty - pretty sure there were a lot of germs on his hands and he was using all the self-serve spoons that everyone after that had to use. After that he went into the elevator and up to the customer floors. The front desk person was watching this and didn't say anything to him. Felt it was unsafe for him to be on the floor with hotel patrons.
