The tranquil Gonzagagasse street, just off the Ring road, combines a quiet atmosphere with the convenience of being steps from the Danube Canal, where alternative dining and art spaces abound. Dining options nearby include local favorites like Café Aera, Lola Tapas, and Schachtelwirt, and the Schottenring metro station (3 minutes away) connects you directly to major city attractions via the U2 and U4 lines and tram routes. The flat was spotless and - importantly - air conditioned during a record heat wave. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The location was very to easy walk to the Ringstrasse and just a 20 min or so taxi to the train station. Recommend if you have kids who complain about sharing beds.
