The apartment is at ground level and wheelchair-accessible. The new, high-end, 42-square-meter apartment can accommodate up to two people. It is located on the first floor of the guesthouse and is barrier-free, with its own terrace for barbecuing and relaxing.
The outdoor area is furnished with outdoor furniture, lounge chairs and chairs with cushions, a parasol, and a charcoal grill. The 55-square-meter terrace is completely fenced in.
You enter the apartment through a large barn door. High ceilings accented with stucco and a very stylish interior are the apartment’s hallmarks. Underfloor heating for the cold season and concrete core cooling in the summer ensure guests enjoy absolute comfort year-round—powered by solar energy and geothermal heat for heating and cooling, in a sustainable and emission-free manner.
Room Layout: The apartment features one bedroom, furnished with a queen-size bed. A crib can be provided upon request.
The large living area features a modern kitchenette, a dining area, and a living room. 
The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, range hood, oven, fridge-freezer combo, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster.
The bathroom is equipped with a high-quality shower, sink, and toilet.
Additional amenities such as a vacuum cleaner, iron, and ironing board are, of course, included in the apartment, as are
a washing machine and dryer.
The guest house features a dog shower with hot water and drying towels.
Bicycles and e-bikes can be stored and charged in a separate room.
There is ample parking space for vehicles, and a charging station powered by the photovoltaic system is available for electric vehicles.
Don’t feel like cooking? And if you don’t feel like cooking or grilling yourself, the “Alte Schule” bistro-pizzeria is just a few minutes’ walk away, where you can treat yourself to Mediterranean and regional dishes. Of course, takeout is also available here.



The Vacation Home in the Saarschleifen Region: Vacations Around the Saarschleife Our vacation home is located in the heart of the Saarschleifenregion. The Saarschleifenland is particularly well-known for the Saarschleife, an impressive river bend of the Saar near Mettlach. The landscape in this region is characterized by forests, hills, apple orchards, and vineyards. Hiking trails with spectacular viewpoints, bike paths along the Saar, and boating and canoeing on the Saar are drawing ever-increasing numbers of nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts to the region. It is also a popular destination for wellness and health tourism. There are several spa towns and thermal baths where you can pamper yourself and relax.​
Our dog-friendly vacation rental warmly welcomes both two-legged and four-legged guests! Not only will you enjoy a relaxing vacation here—your dog will have a great time, too. On the premises, there’s an agility course for play, exercise, and training. After an active day, you can comfortably wash your four-legged friend in our dog shower with warm water and towels provided.
In every apartment, we also provide a dog blanket as well as food and water bowls so your dog feels right at home from the start.

Modern vacation apartments await you. Our vacation resort opened in 2022. Five individually and tastefully furnished vacation apartments and one vacation home can accommodate couples, families, or groups of up to 8 people. Dogs are welcome; a dog shower with hot water and drying towels is available for them. Each apartment features a private terrace, a garden, or a balcony. Outdoor furniture, lounge chairs, and chairs with cushions, a parasol, and a charcoal grill are provided for the outdoor area.
A charging station powered by our solar panel system is available for electric vehicles. Bicycles and e-bikes can be securely stored and charged in a separate room.
​Relax in the Wellness Barn Our vacation home is complemented by a 750 m² spa resort. It has everything to make your stay unforgettable and unique. Our wellness barn features a saltwater pool measuring 8 m x 3.75 m with a depth of 1.55 m, which is heated year-round to 28 degrees.
There is also a large sauna for up to 10 people, a shower with a waterfall feature and Kneipp shower, and a lovely relaxation room for cold days.
Hot tub for up to 8 people Outside the wellness barn is a covered, south-facing hot tub with air and massage jets for up to 8 people, surrounded by a large garden lounge area for resting and relaxing.



On-site fees: A 20% deposit is charged upon booking. The remaining balance is due via bank transfer no later than 2 weeks before arrival. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to midnight. Check-out is required by 11:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys are handed over contactlessly via a key box. Pets are allowed for a fee of 30€ per stay.
