My topmost reason for this exceptional rating is Mao. Their receptionist. He was incredible. Not only did he make sure that we are smoothly checked in while we are still in Halong Bay, he went above and beyond to buy me medicines for my colds and cough as he fears that the pharmacy might be closed already upon our late arrival. Even extended his hospitality to buying toiletries for my best friend. In addition, due to our late arrival, I was famished and he not only directed me to the place where I can eat, he left his desk and actually took me there himself. The room in itself is spacious, the breakfast is filling and the chef is on standby to cook you a choice of western breakfast. The location is superb as it is a walking distance to everything. Shops, restaurants, and pickup points for tours. I definitely did have great value for my money on this 2-nighy stay.

The location was OK within the old quarter.
Room wasn't as comfortable as other places.
Had hot water and good water pressure.
Had a lift to the 5th floor which was convenient.

It was clean and spacious.
I like their free breakfast. It was so healthy with lots of fruits.
They forgot to give bottles water the other day.
