What was there not to like, it has a wonderful location, clean and very very friendly. The food was beautiful in the restaurant. Our view was outstanding, we were in room 401. Very comfortable bed. We just really loved staying here

Excellent location with back entrance on Temple Road and a short walk to the Dalai Lama Temple. Interesting shops in walking distance. Attentive staff (could be over attentive at times), excellent food with lots of choices for both breakfast and dinner. Very aesthetic and comfortable, with different areas for sitting inside and outside, and great views (depending on the clouds). Welcoming on arrival (thanks Kuldeep), friendly reception (thanks Savita). Excellent house-keeping. Great bathroom, comfortable bed, large room.
No in-house laundry, so need to give at least a day's notice for washing or drying to be done. No clothes line for drying hand-washing either inside or outside.
Such attentive staff it was hard to know who to tip and how much (as we are from a non-tipping culture), so this was stressful but we did our best.
