The location was very close to the shin-fukae station, making daily trips a breeze. The rooms were clean, the shower was separate from the toilet, making the bathroom ever so slightly larger and easier to use.
The staircase was narrow and there was no elevator. There were no mirrors above the sinks but elsewhere in seemingly random spots. The rooms were a little smaller than most I have stayed at so far. I don't think that's a big deal since I spent most time outside anyways.
Due to changes in my travelplans, I had to change the booking relatively close to arrival, causing me to have to change rooms after one night. This process did not go as smoothly as I would have liked, however, I believe this is mostly my fault for not booking further in advance. I will have to say though, there was no hotel staff there in person, everything was online. Only cleaning personell was there, but they spoke only chinese, not english, not japanese. The luggage area is under CCTV surveilance, but it is right in front of the entrance. When I had to leave my luggage there because I could not check in to the new room directly after checking out of the last, I had a bad feeling about this. Luckily nothing was stolen because this is Japan. All in all, I think it was my mistake for not booking this earlier. The process could have gone smoother had personell been there and I would have had a better feeling, had I left my luggage with personell too.
