We have just had a lovely weekend at Brooklyn in spite of the storms and the rain, but we were kept warm and dry. The hosts even checked we were OK 😊
The property is really central to Kendal, and well priced for the size. The hosts were great at responding to any questions before arrival quickly, the only delay being my inability to use the Booking.com site properly! The photos are accurate, the bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely, the downstairs is a little more tired but clean and absolutely perfect for our needs and I think the price reflects this. If visiting the area again, we wouldn't hesistate to book again.
The weather, but it is the Lakes and there were 2 UK wide storms over the weekend so not the propery's fault! We did get out walking on both days though and it was lovely to come back to a warm dry house 😊

The house was in a brilliant location to come and go within Kendal, and a short 10 minute walk to main Bus station.
The house was clean and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was very well appointed.
Only Parking for one car, the other parking slot is for the neighbour.
We had a few issues, which we’ve messaged the owner directly about.

The location was in close proximity to the town, just a few minutes walk to the centre.
We met with friends, travelled in 2 cars and I had to park my car 1 mile away from the property, as there was no additional parking available for a second car. I had an additional £22 to pay for my parking. The property was scruffy, the beds very uncomfortable.
