Deceiving listing photos and stale air did our experience in as far as the room goes, but enjoyed the beach.

The location was convenient.

The property itself was okay. Upon arrival we noticed the sliding door that was no longer sliding… it had a sign that said pull open and please close behind you. So, every morning when I brought my family’s things to the beach I had to set things down to manually pull apart the sliding doors to access the pool and beach from elevators then move the stuff outside the door and close it back. Our unit was sketchy. You could tell there was clearly either someone tried to break in or someone was locked out and had to do some FIY locksmithing… bc the door showed obvious signs of forced entry… which I didn’t even take a picture of because we were literally just arriving and ready to get in. The last thing on my mind was documenting things thinking we were about to have a negative experience … but I noticed that first thing. It was hot and muggy upon arrival. I know they ask you to set it to 74° when you check out, and I understand why that is. No reason to have it beaming cold air when no one is occupying. However, as sticky and smelly as it was when we got there… I would hope someone would come and turn it down prior to guests arriving. The unit was cleaned prior to our arrival, but the stale air smell and mildewed shower curtains in both bathrooms really took away from that. The listing itself must have been AI modified a tad because it was very dim and dated when we got in. Nothing is stark white and fresh like the listing shows. The door frames and doors are all a yellowed color, the bathroom lighting in one bathroom was literally amber so you can’t even do your makeup in there … which is fine it’s not like that makes or breaks the beach trip… but pair that with the musty smell and it was disappointing coming from expectations of the listing photos. The tvs are not smart tvs, also not important to me… but my husband and kids had nothing to watch at night. They are very small as well.
