Nestled between the Weserbergland and Teutoburg Forest vacation regions lies the small town of Lügde, with its historic town center right next to the spa and resort town of Bad Pyrmont. You can reach Lügde by more than just car. The S5 line from Paderborn to Hannover Central Station stops right in Lügde. From there, you can reach the convention center, the airport, and the stadium. Both towns are situated in a valley basin, surrounded by forests, meadows, and floodplains. The surrounding area invites you to explore along marked biking and hiking trails. Even the storks feel so at home in the Lügde neighborhood of Rischenau that they raise their young there!
Use your vacation home as a starting point for countless excursions and sightseeing opportunities. We’re located along the “Weser Renaissance Route” and the “German Fairy Tale Route.”
The Katharina vacation home is situated right at the foot of the Ramberg cliffs on the outskirts of town. The stone cliffs run right up against the back of the house. You’ll feel like you’re in the mountains!
But businesspeople can also work here and start their day from their vacation home—for example, heading to the Hannover Messe. Bring your partner along!
A small office, office supplies, and a printer (upon request and for a usage fee) can be provided.
Guests must set up the connection themselves; we cannot guarantee that it will work!
You’ll have plenty of space between your vacation home and other houses in the neighborhood—enjoy it!
For bookings by technicians, the number of guests in the vacation home is limited to two.

Duplex apartment:

You enter a spacious, heated entryway where you can leave any dirty hiking boots and wet clothing. Of course, you’re welcome to wash and dry these items in the house! You’re welcome to store strollers or other gear there. You’ll enter the light-filled duplex apartment in the attic with a loft.
You’ll enjoy a fantastic, sweeping view of the Emmer floodplains and the historic old town, which offers plenty of activities and dining options.
We’re especially family-friendly! Toddlers up to 2 years old stay for free! A travel crib, heated changing table, high chair, baby bathtub, and much more are already provided in the vacation rental. Save yourself the trouble of loading all this extra gear into your car!

You’ll have a bedroom with a box-spring bed, closets, and various small tables and seating options. You can also use this space as a small home office.
Make the most of the balcony too—enjoy the sweeping view from the balcony with a glass of wine!
A bright living and dining room serves as the hub for relaxing and dining together. In the fully equipped kitchen, you can't only cook just like at home, but you’ll also find plenty to pique your curiosity and inspire you to try something new!

The family bathroom
The large shower with a seat offers enough space for more than one person. There’s a changing table, heated by an infrared heater, and a potty. Next to the radiator, there’s a space heater.
Of course, we’ve also thought of our younger guests: The second private washbasin is installed lower and also has a stool so they can discover life on their own!
Sleeping Areas in the Attic
Up in the attic, there are 2 beds in separate areas that also offer opportunities for children to play and have fun.
There’s also a TV, toilet, and sink. Especially on vacation, you might want to watch something different from what the kids are watching.
Thanks to the gallery, parents in the living and dining room can always keep a little ear open to what’s happening in the attic!
For business travelers and gamers, there’s high-speed internet; for the latter, there are large freezer compartments to store pizzas for long gaming sessions.
Outdoor Area
You’ll also find a gazebo in the outdoor area where you can relax and barbecue. And a smoking area. Smoking is also permitted on the balcony even when the doors are closed.
Enjoy relaxing barbecue evenings—the cliffs of the Ramberg retain the day’s warmth for a long time!

A washing machine and dryer are available in the basement, along with additional drying options.

On-site fees: Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to midnight. Early check-in is possible by arrangement and for a fee (luggage storage in a lockable room is available free of charge by arrangement). Check-out is between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM, or by arrangement. If there is no reservation for the following day, you are welcome to spend the day with us until early evening upon request and for a fee. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon consultation. Please contact us in a timely manner to make arrangements, if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on-site or via a key box. You will receive the code for check-in well in advance of your arrival, immediately after payment is received. The total payment amount will be calculated after booking. For last-minute bookings, the booking fee can also be paid in person before key pickup, with a receipt showing the applicable sales tax. A crib, high chair, potty, baby bathtub, and heated changing table are available to you free of charge. Children up to 2 years old stay for free at the Katharina vacation home! You’ll see from many little details that we love children! Pets are not allowed due to our guests with allergies. Service animals are permitted only by prior arrangement! There is no visitor’s tax in Lügde! Upon departure, the vacation rental must be left swept clean; used kitchen utensils and dishes must be placed in the dishwasher and the machine turned on; and work surfaces must be cleaned. If the kitchen is left untidy upon departure, we will unfortunately have to charge an additional cleaning fee of €50. If the entire vacation rental is left untidy and not swept clean, we will unfortunately have to charge an additional cleaning fee of €100. Unfortunately, this additional time and effort is not covered by your accommodation fee. Please smoke only outside the house, on the balcony with the windows closed, or in an outdoor area, such as the gazebo. If smoking does occur inside the vacation rental, we will unfortunately have to hire a professional cleaner to perform an expensive ozone treatment on the unit to prevent subsequent guests from being bothered by the resulting odor. The departing guest responsible for the damage must bear the costs for this.
