Welcome to the oldest café and pastry shop in the spa town of Oberwiesenthal! You’ll enjoy a cozy stay in a vacation apartment (newly built in 2020) that’s stylishly furnished with underfloor heating and a fireplace. The sweet aroma of freshly baked cakes and pastries is included.
We’re happy to answer any questions you may have about our beautiful hometown and the surrounding area. We live right in the quiet town center. In just a few minutes’ walk, you’ll find yourself surrounded by nature—meadows and forests. Oberwiesenthal has well-maintained hiking trails, and during ski season, you’re just about 150 meters from the ski slope and chairlift. The Advent season is also highly recommended. It’s no coincidence that our region is known as “Christmas Land Erzgebirge.”
The spa town of Oberwiesenthal is worth a visit any time of year. It’s idyllically situated at the foot of the 1,214-meter-high Fichtelberg, which is well worth the climb—whether on foot or floating up in Germany’s oldest aerial cableway. You can explore the surrounding area on the Fichtelberg Railway or the steam train. The town features a local history and winter sports museum with rotating exhibitions. ...And perhaps you’ll run into our honorary citizen and ski-jumping legend Jens Weißflog along the way.
Comfortable and cozy vacation apartment:
We offer you extra comfort with soundproofing, hypoallergenic pillows, feather pillows, adapters, outlets near the bed, a sleeper sofa, a clothes rack, and beautiful hardwood or parquet floors.
There’s plenty of room for everyone here. The sitting area with a sofa and fireplace, as well as the dining area, leave nothing to be desired.
In the fully equipped kitchen, you’ll find everything you need (dining table, coffee maker, stove, oven, kettle, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, dishes, glasses, silverware, cleaning supplies).
You’ll sleep like a baby in our large, cozy bed. A closet and bedding are provided.
Here you’ll find a large, spacious shower, toilet, toilet paper, towels, and a hair dryer.
The accommodations are located on the upper floor and is accessible only via a staircase!
On-site fees: Payment is due in cash on site. A 50% deposit is charged after booking. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM; check-out is available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys will be handed over in person on-site. Final cleaning, bed linens, hand and bath towels, Wi-Fi access, and parking are included in the price. Pets are allowed for a fee of €5 per day. The visitor’s tax of €2.10 per person per night will be charged separately on-site. Bread roll service is available upon request.
Check-in is from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
