Our house is a half-timbered house that was first mentioned as early as the 13th century. Of course, we have renovated the house and brought it up to modern standards. In doing so, we’ve tried to preserve the house’s character while incorporating the benefits of the latest technology in terms of plumbing and electronics.
Surrounded by other half-timbered houses, we have a view across the Old Town to the lake and the Alps. From our window, we can see the ferry to Konstanz and Mainau Island.
The train station, bus station, and the lake—with its promenade and boat docks—are a 5-minute walk from us.
Directly across from our house is the historic Hänselesbrunnen fountain, which serves as the starting point for all Carnival activities during the Carnival season. 



Apartment, bathroom, toilet:

Our house is accessible via an outdoor staircase. The interior staircase leads to the apartment on the 2nd floor. You’ll find an entryway with a coat rack and a reading room, which features a comfortable reading chair, a TV, and informational materials about the vacation destination. On the same level, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen-living room and a bathroom with a toilet. The bedroom is one floor higher—from here, you’ll have a fantastic view of the city, the lake, and all the way to the Säntis.
Unfortunately, due to the layout of the old town, we do not have a parking space—but we do have a bicycle storage room at street level equipped with an electric charging station.
You can park your car in the parking garages for an hourly fee (the city center is currently under construction and is expected to remain so until November 2023) or at the nearby P+R parking lot for a daily fee.



On-site costs: A 50% prepayment is charged upon booking. The remaining balance is due in cash upon arrival. Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Check-out must be completed by 10:00 AM. Alternative check-in and check-out times may be arranged upon request. Keys will be handed over in person on-site or via a key box. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed here. A crib can be provided upon request (free of charge). Please note that for bookings with children, rollaway beds must be used. The tourist tax, which is part of the Lake Constance Card, amounts to €3.50 per person (ages 12 and up) per night and will be charged additionally on-site. The linens package—including bed linens and towels—included in the price is intended for one stay. We are happy to provide additional linens for an extra charge.



Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00, and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
