This Istrian stone house, more than 130 years old, was renovated 12 years ago and divided into three apartments. Located on a quiet street 350 m from the sea, surrounded by a large garden and an olive grove, it is ideal for family vacations and both short and long stays. The owners do not live in the house. The advantage of this property is the option to rent each apartment separately—the first floor apartment (sleeps 4 + 2), two smaller apartments on the upper floor (each sleeping 4 people)—or to rent the entire house for up to 14 people. Our guests visit for birthdays, bachelorette parties, and graduation parties; during the off-season, we also host smaller sports groups—typically students from a nearby tennis academy. Parking is available in the courtyard; all apartments are air-conditioned, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Guests are offered local products from our neighbors (vegetables, fruit, olive oil, wine, honey).

My family used this house as a vacation home until 10 years ago, and as we traveled less and less and came to the house more often, we decided to renovate it and rent it out. Using our own creativity, we arranged all the furniture ourselves, making sure everything was functional and comfortable. One of our first guests left us a message: “We came as guests, left as friends,” and we’ve strived to improve our service every year. Since we love to travel, we’ve received many suggestions and helpful advice from our guests. A large number of guests return; some seek advice on other destinations, recommendations for good restaurants, wineries, concert tickets, and sporting events… I try to meet all their needs, and my hobby has ultimately become my job. I look forward to every inquiry, every guest, and every season—which I want to start as soon as possible—and prepare for them as if it were the first time.
