I’d stay again-comfortable bed and room for a low price
Great location and nice neighborhood
It just seemed to be in a bit of disrepair.

Never let someone stay in a house without air conditioning without letting them know in advance.
I was trying to avoid reviewing this properly. This was absolutely the worst vacation rental experience we have ever had. It was a 90+ degree day in Tampa. We had a wedding to go to and were given an early check-in at the house. I spoke to the owner via text or email more than once on the day that we were staying. She was nice enough to give us an early check-in.
Major major problem was that she failed to let us know that the air conditioning was out and would not be fixed until after our stay. Getting ready for the wedding was a joke. We were trying to put on fancy clothes and get a shower but it was so hot in the place that my wife and friends could not even curl their hair or put on makeup. We stayed for 30 minutes to try to get our clothes on and had to leave for the wedding. We pretty much got ready in the car because it had air conditioning.
When we returned several hours later, the place was unbearable. My wife did not feel comfortable even having the windows open in this neighborhood and there is no way we could have slept without air conditioning. The owner seemed to think it was comfortable at 80 degrees which is great if you are used to living in Florida without air conditioning. We had to leave and check into a hotel in order to get a good night rest.
The owner did not seem to think a full refund was in order because she had gone out of her way to get the room ready for an early check-in. All she had to do was make us aware that there was no air conditioning and we would have made other arrangements in advance. She reluctantly agreed to 70%. We own a vacation rental and would never have rented it out under these conditions and certainly understand that someone could not stay. She really commented that it was perfectly cool at 80 degrees and had cooled down from the day.
We have stayed at 100s of vacation rentals and have never left a poor review.
