Welcome to the Walkenstein Vacation Home! Our vacation home in the eastern Waldviertel region of Lower Austria is the perfect starting point for exploring the Waldviertel and Weinviertel regions. It offers you the chance to spend time in nature, enjoy some peace and quiet, and recharge your batteries—whether you’re looking for an active vacation or a few relaxing days, you’ll find rest and relaxation for the whole family here. You’ll have the entire house, including the garden, all to yourselves. We’d be delighted to welcome you as our guests. The vacation home features two bedrooms with double beds (180x200 cm), a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, and much more, a bathroom with a shower and hair dryer, a separate toilet, an entryway, and a living room with a TV and fireplace. Two TVs (in the kitchen and living room) and free Wi-Fi are also available. Out front, the patio—complete with a large umbrella and cozy seating—invites you to relax, while a charcoal grill is ready for you to prepare delicious meals outdoors. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Check-out is between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in advance to make arrangements. Keys will be handed over in person on-site or via a key box. You will receive the code for the key box well in advance of your arrival. For children, a safety gate, a baby monitor, and a high chair are available upon request. Pets are not allowed; we appreciate your understanding! The overnight tax of 2.60 EUR per person/night (ages 15 and up) will be charged separately on-site. Parking for two cars is available in front of the house. A lockable storage room is available for your bicycles and e-bikes. You can charge the battery for free either at the outdoor outlet near the terrace or inside the house. A 50% prepayment is charged after booking. The balance is paid in cash upon arrival.
