Menzenschwand is situated in a picturesque valley that stretches southward from the 1,493-meter-high Feldberg, above St. Blasien. In the adjacent eastern valley, you’ll find the stunning Schluchsee.

The tranquil surroundings of the Menzenschwendertal valley offer a wide variety of hiking opportunities. Here you’ll find challenging mountain hikes to the high peaks, leisurely walks to the Menzenschwand waterfalls, and family outings on the Menzenschwand Goat Trail—and that’s just a small selection!

In winter, numerous ski lifts, cross-country trails, and winter hiking trails invite you to enjoy the snow-covered landscape.
