Great location, we loved the charm of the older building. Within walking distance of so much! Darcy was very prompt and helpful.

Nice little place. My only small complaint is about parking instructions shared by the host.In the "Arrival Information" that gets emailed out after booking, the host specifically and strongly recommended doing street parking rather than garage parking, but that turned into a complete mess for me. I arrived rather late (11pmish) and all of the nearby spots were taken. A few blocks away I found open spots, but the parking signs said that there was a 2 hour limit from 8am-8pm, but I needed somewhere to park until the following day at 4pm-ish. But I was tired and desperate and thought maybe I could just re-pay every 2 hours, and some random person on Reddit said that you could prepay at night for the first 2 hours in the morning rather than having to set an alarm to do it in the morning. So I downloaded the parking app and attempted to do that, but it failed to work with the parking zone number that I entered. I tried a few other nearby zone numbers, and those also failed. So then I'm trying to navigate the Seattle parking info website, other myriad Reddit posts, SpotAngels maps, etc., and getting all sorts of contradictory information. After an hour or so, exhausted, I end up way overpaying for a last-minute parking garage on SpotHero that I could've reserved a month earlier for a quarter of the price. So I'd suggest that the host either update the parking instructions with much clearer, more comprehensive, and better researched information, or just delete it completely.

Everything was good definitely come back for the walkability to sports parks and markets. Bar staff were great!! Drink specials were great and Jose was awesome!! Could use a newer more comfortable bed and some place to house open luggage, as well as more coffee supplies for longer stays. Darcy was accommodating and would return again.

There was dust almost everywhere other than table top and countertop, not sure if the floor was vacuumed. Baseboards had layers of dust. Windows were dirty, not sure last time they were cleaned. There was wet laundry in washer, contacted the host, I was told to put them in the dryer. I don't mind that, it's no big deal. But I would have expected an apology and or thank you for putting them in the dryer. The light fixture had bare lightbulbs over the bathroom sink. Mattress very poor, probably should have been replaced 10 years ago. The wifi is very weak, we could only have one phone at a time connected to it. On the plus side, the location is perfect. Close to most of what we needed within walking distance. On the other hand, we didn't realize it was right over a bar. So it was very very noisy through the night. And after the bar closed with patrons outside on the street carrying on. Why didn't we move - we were raised poor in the country so it wasn't foreign to us. We know how to manage. Just letting others know who may not be used to roughing it.
