Louise was a great host and the apartment one of the best we’ve stayed in. Thank you!

Louise was a fantastic host. The apartment was brilliant - great range of provisions from shampoo to coffee, beautifully furnished, comfortable and super convenient for all things Kendal.

Nothing!

3 / 10

Very disappointing.

I chose this apartment because of its location. Excellent fast wi-fi. No problem connecting to internet. Comfortable bed. All the kitchen facilities needed, plus milk tea, coffee, biscuits were welcome.

Price - over £200 a week more than the spacious apartment I had the previous time I stayed in central Kendal, so I was expecting everything to be better here, but it was worse. There was no kitchen as advertised- only a kitchen area and a small dining table. There was no bedroom, no wardrobe or dressing room, as advertised. Just some clothes hangers. The bathroom was tiny, very narrow and cramped. There were no soundproof rooms (does the bathroom space count as a room?) as advertised. I could hear the noises from the shop below and the street - and the very loud playing of the drumming band in the market place on Saturday morning and afternoon, a time when I wanted to rest from my journey.
