Unfortunately, based on the property conditions, lack of accessibility disclosure, and the complete lack of any refund d
Location was ok
Unfortunately, our experience with this property was very disappointing, especially given that we were traveling as a family with senior citizens and family members with mobility limitations.
One of the biggest issues was the number of stairs throughout the property. This was not clear to us before booking, and once we arrived, we realized there were no suitable rooms that could be accessed without dealing with stairs. The only room with a bathroom that was located downstairs also did not have adequate air conditioning or fans, which made it uncomfortable and unsuitable for our family.
We also found the overall cleanliness of the property and the outside areas to be below what we expected based on the listing.
Because of the accessibility and accommodation issues, we determined almost immediately that the property was not suitable or safe for the senior members of our group. We notified the property manager right away and left within approximately one hour of arriving. We did not stay even one night of our four-night reservation.
The property manager was personally kind and communicated with us, but unfortunately was unable to provide any meaningful solution, alternative accommodation, or financial assistance. Booking.com was also unable to help us obtain a reasonable resolution.
What was particularly disappointing was that we received no refund for any portion of the four-night stay, despite notifying the property immediately and not using the accommodation. I would have understood a reasonable cancellation charge or even a partial loss given the circumstances, but retaining the entire four-night payment when the property was never actually used felt extremely unfair.
We also had to find alternative family-friendly accommodations at the last minute for a large group, resulting in significant additional expense and inconvenience on top of losing the full cost of this reservation.
