Don’t stay at this accommodation

Good location.

I don’t recommend anyone to stay at this accommodation. The photos do not accurately represent what the apartment actually looks like. The bed not the same as the pictures, is cheap with a very thin mattress and you can feel the springs through it. Upon arrival, I noticed that the desk shown in the photos was missing; when I messaged the host, they explained that they had made some changes regarding what is included but failed to update the photos, which is a violation according to booking.com policy. They offered no apology, nor did they offer to provide a table—even though one was included in my booking. Furthermore, there was a list of house rules (see photo) that had not been disclosed at the time of booking, which is a violation of Booking.com’s policy. These rules stated that nothing other than water could be consumed inside the apartment—all eating and drinking had to take place in a communal kitchen. If you book an accommodation that provides you a pentry you would imagine that you are allowed to eat there, if not they should say so in the listing. They even provide supplementary coffee and tee, but according to the rules you are not allowed to drink what they provide in your room. The cleanliness was poor: there was dust on the baseboards, and the shower and showerhead were absolutely disgusting (see photo), just overall bad cleaning. Although the listing stated that toiletries and toilet paper would be provided, there was only one roll of toilet paper; the host claimed that they only supply enough for the first 24 hours. They also had shower gel and some type of shampoo provided in the shower but the shampoo was completely empty. The host answered fast (I’m guessing some sort of automated response) but won’t give you any help or a solution. I stayed for 5 nights only because I had no other choice, and then I arranged alternative accommodation for the remainder of my trip. After raising my concerns and my disappointment of the apartment with booking.

For value for money in a central location you can't find cheaper with the facilities included

Fantastic value for money. Useful use of a shared kitchen diner with cookers/fridge/ freezer/ ironing board and iron/ washing machine as well as a microwave/ sink/fridge/kettle and complimentary tea and coffee in the ensuite room. Good size room with large tv/ wardrobe/ drawers and desk area . Owners were prompt and friendly with replies.

Only personal preference and not a complaint at this price bracket but a few coat hangers would be nice . I had nowhere to hang my clothes for my 2 week stay and one side of the large bay window didn't have a blind to pull down and block out the street light close by . The mattress was thin and I could feel the springs which was uncomfortable at times .

Stayed X3 nights. Was Very clean and spacious. I forgot my Code for the door, owners was very quick and helpful. Cannot fault. Council run car park round corner was convenient and friendly local pubs within 5 min walk.

It was an official trip, and the property was a couple of minutes' walk from the town center. Property is minutes walk from the town center. Kitchen was spacious and sitting area was nice as well.

Found the telephone contact very unprofessional and rude. You were encouraged to leave a text message, and even when you got to speak to someone, they were not professional. I requested that my room be cleaned, despite extending my stay for another 4 nights, but it was not. No floor mat in the bathroom, the washing machine was not clean, and mold in my bathroom. The room was not well ventilated.
