The location of this place is great. It's within easy reach of many places including barely 10 mins from Carlisle city centre. It's also in the middle of nowhere just outside a lovely little village and is so quiet and peaceful for it. I can't think if a single thing I didn't enjoy about this place, it really was exactly the escape I needed.
Honestly nothing, everything was just the right balance for me.

Lovely stay for the last night of our tour of Ireland landing via ferry in Cairnryan to break up our homeward journey...
Our hostess was very kind and the little annex was perfect for the cleanliness and comfort factor...
A little difficult to find(mentioned to the owner it could do with a sign at the end of the drive) but luckily the neighbour was in the garden and directed us nicely(we got the impression it's not the first time but he was lovely about it) so hopefully next time we'll find it a lot easier...
Nothing at all, as mentioned it was a perfect ending to the 10+ day trip in Ireland

The accommodation is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and it even has an air fryer.
We had no issues at all with the accommodation. It was very nice.
It was a bit difficult to find in the dark and better signage at the road entrance and once down the drive would be really helpful. The name of the accommodation is to the side of the building and not obvious when you first drive in. I was also disappointed with the plastic grass outside the back door. Very incongruous in such a lovely area of Cumbria, not to mention extremely damaging to nature.

Very high standard of finish, excellent location, super comfortable bed and pillows.
Compared to the rest of the property the towels were hard and smelt fusty.
