One of the Worst Experiences I Have Had with Booking.com
The only thing I can say I like about it is the location of the building.
I have used Booking.com for many years, and this is the first time I have felt compelled to leave such a negative review. This experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Due to our travel arrangements, we arrived at the property late. To our shock, the accommodation looked nothing like the pictures advertised on Booking.com. It was dirty, smelled unpleasant, and was in such poor condition that we could not comfortably stay there. Given the late hour, we desperately tried to find alternative accommodation but could not secure a hotel room that night. Consequently, we spent the entire night without proper rest. We eventually arranged an earlier hotel check-in the following day so we could finally get some sleep. The unacceptable conditions left us with no choice but to leave before our scheduled departure date. We had to pay for alternative accommodation because the property failed to meet the reasonable standards suggested by its advertised photographs. What made matters worse was the handling of our complaint. We requested a full refund and provided supporting evidence, yet Booking.com could not resolve the issue, and the host refused to reimburse us. We lost money on accommodation we could not reasonably use while also paying for a hotel. This was unfair and financially burdensome. Guests should not have to endure stress, sleepless nights, and additional expenses because a property differs significantly from its advertisement or fails to meet acceptable cleanliness standards. I hope the host reflects on this experience. Hosting requires providing the promised accommodation, maintaining proper hygiene, and treating guests fairly when problems arise. I urge future guests to exercise caution before booking. I also hope Booking.com takes complaints seriously and holds hosts accountable when properties fall significantly short of expectations. Overall, this experience was disappointing, costly, and entirely avoidable. Never stay here; highly disappointing.

Informatie over inchecken was volledig.
Alle negatieve beoordelingen uit 2024 zijn zo'n beetje allemaal nog van toepassing.
De vaatwasser is kapot. De ramen zijn vies, wc loopt matig door, wasbak en kraan in badkamer zitten los, wc-bril zit los. De douche was vies. Er zit schimmel in de vriezer, in de deur van de koelkast mist een deurvak De deurtjes van een aantal kasten sluiten slecht. Een aanrechtkastje zit met gewoon plakband dichtgetapet. Er is weinig serviesgoed aanwezig.
Er is geen handzeep, geen shampoo. Alleen afwasmiddel in de keuken. De glazen tafels zijn "schoongemaakt" maar je ziet alle vegen van een doekje. Ik durfde nauwelijks aan die tafel te zitten eten. De deurklink is niet compleet en heeft scherpe randen.
De foto's op booking zijn niet wat het is. De molens zijn er wel in de omgeving maar je hebt niet dat uitzicht. De detailfoto's met zeepjes, eieren, en servies. Het is helemaal niet aanwezig.
De foto's zijn zo genomen dat je niet makkelijk snapt hoe het appartement in elkaar zit.
Het is namelijk geen "appartement met 2 slaapkamers" zoals de omschrijving doet geloven. En dat is wel juist waarom ik deze accomodatie gekozen had. Het is een loft.
Het is 1 open ruimte. Beneden een woonkamertje met open keuken, een eettafel en een bed. En dan is er een open verdieping met 1 bed, via een trap bereikbaar. Geen deuren of muren. Je kijkt zo over de reling van boven naar beneden in de woonkamer. Je slaapt dus met zn allen bij elkaar in 1 kamer. Er zijn geen 2 slaapkamers. Het is één open ruimte. En dat is nou net wat ik niet zocht.
Bij het onderdeel ' faciliteiten' op booking.com staat ook vanalles wat er in het echt niet is:
Geen föhn, geen strijkfaciliteiten, geen bordspellen, geen desinfecterende handgel.
Niet dat ik het nodig had. Maar de informatie over het appartement klopt gewoon niet.
Het appartement een deur naast het onze, in hetzelfde gebouw, was verzegeld. (Op last van de burgemeester gesloten). Dat voelt ook niet echt fijn.

Topplek om te verblijven niets op aan te merken ik ga hier nog wel vaker boeken want het is goed bevallen!
