Location was great for exploring the magnificent Flinders Ranges. The room was quiet, probably because it was in the motel units at the back of, and separated from, the hotel. We booked and paid for a double room with shared bathroom down the passage, presumably in the hotel itself, but got a room in the motel section, with our own en-suite bathroom, one double bed and two single beds, so we were pretty happy about that. The air-conditioner worked well, and there was a microwave, sink and crockery in the room.
The housekeeping let the side down a bit: on arrival our room had no towels, or soap, despite several empty soap and shampoo dispensers. Soap and towels were happily provided after we asked. The room's carpet looked like it needed a good vacuum clean, if not carpet clean. With a little more attention to detail we would have given a higher rating.

It’s a casual experience with the hotel handy for dinner too.
Unfortunately the chicken schnitzel probably caused some tummy upset. The goat curry needed less meat and some veg for my taste

Location perfect. Clean linen and room. Hot water good with pressure.
Meal and staff in Hotel great.
Perhaps rooms a little tired.

Idiot next door with music and telephone until 2:00am. Room needs lots of TLC. Water all over the front entrance of our room with the doormat bathing in stinky water.....
