As I headed to the property- it was not disclosed that the property was alongside a mud road that was one way- and full of pot holes and in fact the 4WD rental car I was in slid all over just trying to turn into the property. The entry way is overgrown and garbage cans were laying all over. When I arrived through the gate, the driveway was also muddy and unpaved, and proceeded to back up toward the front door to unload my bags. The stairs were wooden and super short, chipped paint and splinters for days. The door code was not preprogrammed as said it would be in the listing. I called and got voicemail and waited in the rain for 15 minutes to get a response. Once I finally got into the property, it was extremely humid inside and the place clearly was thrown together with cheap and very small furniture sparsely put in rooms. There were large bugs on window sills and generally a not super clean feeling. The house seemed like a home project thrown together- no floors match, the cabinets wouldn't shut tight- it reminded me of a house in the Virgin islands that was haphazardly thrown together. I assumed on the pics and listing that it would be extremely nice to host VIP guests- based on the drive in and the interior, it was NOT. I talked to the management company and requested a partial refund. They did not engage in that remotely and kept asking to get on a call. I had to book another property because this one was so bad.

Unfortunately I have to rate this stay average since we booked our stay for New Years based in the amenities including a hot tub and heated pool, none of which were available during our family stay. After reaching out to them, they assured that we would be compensated for the inconvenience but have not received a response to our request. The house is lovely decorated inside and most rooms comfortable. Heating was an issue in one of the bunk rooms as it got very hot some nights.The kitchen needs a bit of work and maybe more flatware and cookware but overall nice. We did get a lot of barking from next door dogs early in the morning but not super loud. Conveniently located 15 mins to downtown.

What a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the quiet seclusion away from the bustling city. Breakfast and morning quiet time out by the spa viewing the distant greenery, feeling the cool breeze, and hearing birds chirping provided a great start to each day. The house was staged for a lot of people with plenty of dishes, large dining area and a multitude of chairs. The rooms were luxurious and well decorated.

Located in Manor, this welcoming vacation home lets you experience it all. Jump into your car and make short work of the 19-minute drive to Sixth Street or the 18-minute drive to Moody Center (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).

After you return, unwind by the outdoor pool and enjoy the outdoor furniture. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and TV.

Unfortunately I have to rate this stay average since we booked our stay for New Years based in the amenities including a hot tub and heated pool, none of which were available during our family stay. After reaching out to them, they assured that we would be compensated for the inconvenience but have not received a response to our request.
