Consistently excellent, my go-to stay every time I'm in Oxford.

This property is fantastic, very nice and comfortable, and it includes absolutely everything listed on the booking, no surprises. The hosts are always reachable, which makes a huge difference when you're traveling. I've visited Oxford several times over the past year and kept coming back to this exact place every time, because I genuinely love staying here. It truly feels like a home away from home.

Very disappointing. Don't stay here if you want a good night's sleep.

The location was nice. It is close enough to walk to most parts of Oxford, which is beautiful. There is a lovely pub nearby - The Slow and Steady, plus Head of the River is also not too far away. The deco of this small flat is somewhat appealing. Kitchen was ok but small. There was a good washing machine, but no toaster or microwave. The flat was warm.

The flat is tiny, with an extremely small bathroom. Water from the shower goes everywhere so we had to mop up the wet floor with bath mats or towels after every use. The shower tap mixer was broken. There is not enough sound proofing. We could hear the tenants in the upstairs flat, especially when they arrived or departed, but more so when they walked around as there were loose floor boards that squeaked. We could hear the upstairs shower and washing machine which often operated continuously through the night. We were awoken on many nights when people arrived late and on one evening we heard other "adult activities", which I choose not to elaborate upon. During the last few days and nights of our stay there was a loud machinery type noise coming from behind a locked door near the bedroom and bathroom area. We assumed it to be the pump for the heating system. It was impossible to sleep. The floors needed a good scrub. Back garden was dirty and overgrown. The bedroom was reasonably comfortable, but there was a slight musty odour present. I reported all the above issues to "The Invited" but apart from a cleaner coming around to cut back some overgrown garden shrubs, nothing was attended to. We never saw any staff and communication was just through WhatsApp. I tried to negotiate some compensation with "The Invited", however was only offered a small discount on our next stay, which has to be used by a certain date. This offer is impossible for us to take up as we live in Australia (16,000 kms away) and somewhat difficult to just pop over again. It was 2 star level accommodation with a 4 star price tag. Very disappointing and definitely not value for money. I would not recommend this accommodation.

Perfect place to stay for 2-3 person.

It’s a safe and quiet neighborhood, fully equipped with everything I need.

Guest upstairs might be noisy, depending on luck I guess.
