Horrible experience

Location was good

The photos on booking.com are not the room you get for the price down. Should of remembered the phase" to good to be true!". When i walked into the reception a party of grown men where complaining of the room standards andb warned me to try to get somewhere else for the night. Everything was fully booked nearby. The room was horrid, dirty stained carpet, no head board, ripped wallpaper, dated disgusting bathroom with rust covered radiator/ towel heater( one of the two) The room at the end of the corridor next to me had a shouting male banging at the wall. I was afraid to be there alone! I couldn't get up early enough to get out if there. Dont stay is my honest advice

Avoid

Had a very unpleasant experience with this property. After renting a room in the property for 2 consecutive days I went to the front desk and asked directly whether I could rent my room for a full week. A receptionist confirmed that it was possible and informed me about the price. When I went to the reception the very next day (before my checking out time) in order to pay for the room, I have been told that my room has been already rented out and that the property has been fully booked and that I had 15 minutes to vacate my room despite being told the day before that I could rent it for the whole week if I so desired. Faced with prospect of having no place to stay for the night at all, I found independently at booking.com another room in the very same building advertised by the same property at twice the usual asking price and paid for it. The booking has been confirmed, however I have soon been informed by the reception staff that the said room was not available and that my money for an advertised unavailable booking cannot be immediately returned to me and that I had to contact booking.com on my own in order to arrange it. Only when I secured a booking in another property, which could not be cancelled have I been informed that there was after all a vacant room available. I ended up staying elsewhere and my money for the stay, which didn't take place have been refunded to me almost 3 weeks later and only after reaching out directly to the franchise, which owns the hotel. I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but If you want to avoid similar adventures during your stay in Aberdeen keep away from this property.

Cigarette ends on carpet. Room was stinky. Clearly no decoration done for years.

Was good place to stay but that was it for short break as bed is so uncomfortable

Liked the bathroom and the door lock and how it locks and opens liked the tv but tv kept playing up

Didn’t like that the neighbours beside us kept shouting and banging the door and that the bed isn’t very comfortable

I didn't really enjoy the prices on breakfast within the hotel other than that the rooms were excellent
