Price and location were main criteria for me. It was a reasonable place to stay next to the coast of East Izu. Very nice Japanese tatami room. Very big covered terrace with two bathes. The last thing was unusual and interesting. It was a blessing during the summer season, when it is hot. You had two "rotenburo" and a place to relax. Loved it. Could be different during cold winter months, though.
The location is not very easy to find, especially if you come after the sunset. A few minor hiccups. Nothing much.
