One of the reviews from a previous guest made me wonder whether this was a good place to stay. After corresponding with the owner I was convinced it was. And I'm glad I was convinced. It's a lovely house with lots of space. Clarinbridge is a nice little community with basic services (pubs, grocery store, etc within an easy walk from the house) and with great access to the Burren, Cliffs of Moher (when it's not foggy - grrr), Galway, etc. I would highly recommend a stay here.
Similar to other small towns throughout Ireland (and not just Ireland) it is obvious that the commercial street is facing some challenges. But that's a pretty minor complaint and alla in all this was one of our favorites of our 4-week trip.

The location was ideal; quiet road; within easy reach of facilities such as supermarket, cafes, restaurant, etc. Local children’s playground and walking routes were an added bonus.

The house was in a perfect location for us, its down a quiet road but there are shops within walking distance, A nice artisan coffee shop just up the road. There is a beautiful walk just over the road as well and our host was very friendly and responsive. We went into Galway (A 20 minute drive) one day and explored more locally another. There was a lovely vibe in nearby Oranmore and Morans of Weir is just a few minutes away serving amazing oysters (a local specialty).
The house itself is lived in, but that made it very relaxed and comfortable for us as we were traveling with a dog. The beds were new and very clean and there was lots of essential supplies already stocked, shower gel, spices, tea bags, biscuits, fresh milk etc..making you feel at home as soon as you arrive.

Logement avec 7 couchages mais 1 salle de bain avec un petit lavabo + 1 salle de douche-wc de 2m² !! en étant assis sur les toilettes on peut se laver les pieds ! et pas possible de prendre une douche en même temps !
