The way in which they puts us in a very uncomfortable position to take what they offer.

Its up to the person reading this to decide if these people run a scam or not. I booked my stay with this property almost 3 weeks before my stay and i have been constantly in touch with the owner for various requirements till i reached azarbaijan. On my way from the airport to hotel also i contacted him as this was my first property in which I'll be staying during my trip. As soon as i reached the property the owner along with one other guy came and told us that the apartment i booked was having some plumbing issues in the washroom but they can give us a different apartment in the same building. We were a pax of 10 people which included 2 kids as well and we were coming after a long flight travel and all of us were very tired. They showed us a different apartment which was spacious and infact good. The plot twist was that the rate all of a sudden increased to more than 150% of the initial booking amount and it didn't end there, they were asking for a deposit of 100 USD along with one passport (not a copy) to be kept at their custody ( god knows for what ). At that point we decided not to go with this booking and had a really hard time finding a different reservation for all of us. So as I said initially its upto the person reading this to decide if its a scam or is there was actually some problem with our apartment initially booked. Just to add we asked them to show us our initially booked Apartment but they told that its closed and can't be shown. Also as i mentioned earlier i was continuously in contact with this apartment owner who never gave us a heads up on this issue untill we reached there.
