The views from the rooftop were incredible. It was right next to the Basilica, perfect location.

The view from the rooftop patio was spectacular. For us, the location was just what we wanted. We were close to all the attractions we wanted to see. Communication with the owner was great - responses were prompt. We were only there 2 nights so it worked for us.
The apartment had 2 bathrooms, but only one shower was working. The bathroom that had a working shower was extremely small, as was the shower stall itself. One tiny shower for 4 adults was not ideal. Also, be aware that the apartment has many stairs and not many handrails. The lounging area had one 2 person couch and no other seating. The beds were nit very comfortable.

"The View" is the right name! What a stunning location. The old house is nicely renovated and is very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Steep access to a roof top terrace with an amazing 360 degree view. The owners are very helpful and have lots of suggestions if you have any enquiries. If you travel by car, the free parking is close by and during your stay you really can reach everything on foot. I cannot think of a better way to stay a few days in Assisi.
There is only one issue and due to the fact that it is a really old house: the shower is minute. The second shower is somewhat strangely located in between the hall and the toilet/vanity. Again, mainly due to the restriction of the old building. Other than that: perfect.

The house was so clean. It was right next to Saint Francis Basilica.
Clean bathrooms and bedrooms.
Paolo was very helpful. So nice and willing to bridge the language gap.
GREAT views from the windows.
The rooftop terrace is difficult to access. Steep and narrow attic ladder to get there.
The mattress was not comfortable.
