Welcome to the Gîtes de Bellevue, in the heart of the Lyon countryside, in a beautifully renovated traditional farmhouse, just 6 km from the village of Thurins and ideally located between Yzeron and St-Martin-en-Haut. Set in an exceptional natural setting—perfect for a weekend getaway or a rejuvenating stay less than an hour from Lyon—the property consists of three adjoining cottages. As soon as you arrive, you’ll be charmed by the warm welcome from the owners, who live on-site in another wing of the house and will go out of their way to make your stay a unique experience. Their hospitality, combined with the peaceful, lush surroundings, creates an atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The 10-person cottage consists of two connected units with an interior passageway, which can also be booked separately. It features four comfortable, air-conditioned bedrooms with flexible bedding options to suit your needs (double or single beds). Two travel cribs are available. “Le Randonneur” Cottage: First floor: living area with kitchenette, dining area, and sitting area (1 sofa bed for 2 people), bathroom. Upper floor: 2 bedrooms and a separate toilet. “Le Coureur” Cottage: First floor: living area with kitchenette, dining area, and sitting area; bathroom; separate toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms and a toilet. Each cottage features a private wooden deck with a lovely view (outdoor furniture, awning, and barbecue). On-site, you’ll also find a shared garden, parking, and a pétanque court to enhance your leisure time. For outdoor enthusiasts, several trails start right from the cottage, offering numerous opportunities for hiking or biking. Thurins Dam and Lake, 4 km away. Yzeron Plateau (recreational activities) is 6 km away. Courzieu Park (wildlife park featuring wolves and birds of prey) is 16 km away.
