Good location, walking distance to main attractions and dining area. Michele was very responsive and helpful. We arrived very late because of flight delay, and he assisted us with late check in and sent us information on restaurants that were still open. When the car park was full, he assisted us by asking around and helped us with the parking, late at night and following up with the progress, even it was near 11 p.m. The accommodation was nice and cosy.
Just that because the accommodation was located in the historic centre, the streets are very narrow and need care to drive around. It is facing the street and don't expect it to be very quiet, and we found it ok.

The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy at first as I approached , but didn't realize how close it is to the Centro Storico of Catania. Short walk to bars and restaurants. Michele, the host, was very responsive to my messages, and accommodating when we arrived later than expected to check in due to unforeseen circumstances. The property was very clean and comfortable, the beds were especially comfortable. Air conditioning made our visit during a heatwave very pleasant.
Note that the property is listed as having parking, but parking is a paid lot around the corner. Ultimately, we decided to park at the recommended lot because it was well lit and open 24 hours. Our car was full of stuff, and having had a rental car broken into in Rome once and everything stolen, I was happy to pay EUR 15 to park, and the attendant (owner?) of the lot was super nice and helpful. The garage is a short walk from the apartment.
Breakfast choices were pre-packaged baked goods that were not the healthiest options. One very minor complaint is that there was no soap or bath gel in the showers, and no shelf within the shower stalls on which to place a bar of soap or shampoo.
