Beautiful property friendly staff serving us at breakfast

Our stay at Haus Eleven was once again an exceptional experience! Check-in was effortless, and the staff were, as always, friendly, welcoming, and eager to assist.
Having our vehicle parked close to the room, under cover and securely behind an electronic gate, provided valuable peace of mind throughout our visit. The room was perfectly suited to our business trip and thoughtfully furnished to ensure both comfort and convenience. The bathroom was spacious and highly practical, while the smart TV provided excellent entertainment options for relaxing after a busy day. Reliable Wi-Fi kept us connected, and the in-room microwave and fridge added to the overall convenience of our stay. The desk also provided a comfortable and functional workspace for administrative tasks.
Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to each day. I always look forward to enjoying an omelette at this guesthouse, as it is simply the best ever! We also had the pleasure of enjoying a friendly chat with the owner before breakfast. She was incredibly welcoming, warm, and such a lovely person, making our stay even more special.
The beautiful gardens are another delightful feature of the property, offering a peaceful retreat whenever a quiet break is needed. Immaculately maintained, they create a calm, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.
The location is ideal—close enough to the town centre for convenience, yet situated in a safe and tranquil environment.
Staying at Haus Eleven is always a pleasure, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. The excellent facilities, secure parking, beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfast, and genuine hospitality make it a place we are always happy to return to. We look forward to our next visit!

Has everything you need for a great stop over.
Sadly the mattress is old and we found ourselves gravitating towards the centre of it.

The town is a perfect stop (I.e in the middle) for traveling from Kruger to St. Lucia (or the other way around).
I don’t know what was wrong with the host, because the host gets very good reviews (in the reviews we saw prior to booking). But in our case she wasn’t interested and it seemed as if she wanted to be somewhere else (do note that it was a one night stay within prolonged Easter weekend). She seemed to expect us to know how things worked (e.g. what you can order for breakfast which was included in our booking). In our case the WiFi was down in our room and after some persistence from us, we switched rooms, which we highly appreciated but was a solution proposed by someone we needed to send a WhatsApp to (the owner?) and not the host. The switching of the rooms solved our WiFi issues.
