Good location but not the accommodation!
It was on the ground floor, which I need as I’m disabled and find stairs difficult. Also a walk in shower, again as I’m disabled I can’t use a bath. Very good bus service to Heathrow, Hounslow, Slough, Windsor and from that onto train and underground into central London.
On paper this ticket our boxes, but when we got there it was quite different. We followed instructions and there were no keys in either key safe for annex one or two. The keys were for the main door to the annex’s, to enter your room in the annex it’s a pin pad. We managed to get into our room but the main door was left open the whole time during our stay, as it couldn’t be locked/unlocked. I contacted the hosts as soon as I got there to advise them of the issue, I was told to just leave the main door as it stays open even though each room in the annex is meant to have a key to be able to lock/unlock the main door. I received a WhatsApp message from someone saying that they were my host, I explained the issue to them and I was advised that they would ask about the keys and get back to me the next day, they never did! The place wasn’t very clean, dirty floors, grease on the kitchen work tops, very little cutlery and that was dirty. No tea spoons, no tea towel only kitchen roll, no washing up liquid, every time I went to use something I had to wash it first as everything was dirty! The kettle switch had been broken off which made it hard to turn on/off. Bedside lamps didn’t work as they work via USB charger and we didn’t have the correct cable to charge them, spot lights in the ceiling three bulbs were gone and some were flashing the hole time which we had to be carful what lights we put on. After we had left in a hurry due to my boyfriends flight time changing, I had to contact the property regarding some items that had been left by my boyfriend, days went passed and no response. I messaged again I was told they would ask the cleaners, days went past again, I messaged a third time to get an answer that nothing was found even through both my boyfriend and I were 95% sure the items had been left there.
